Idol boy group BEAST have successfully held their official fan meeting in Thailand with 4,000 fans. This is their first fan meeting since their Asia Fan Meeting Tour back in 2011.
The event, named 2015 BEAST FAN MEETING in BANGKOK, was held at Royal Paragon Hall in Bangkok, Thailand, on March 7th in the afternoon. With 4,000 enthusiastic Thai fans, the group’s popularity is still prevailing.
Before starting the main event, BEAST participated in a press conference with more than 100 local television stations and news media. They expressed their feelings on their first fan meeting since 2011 and future ambitions. BEAST then performed their best hits of 2014 and other past songs such as “GOOD LUCK,” “12:30,” “SHOCK,” “FICTION,” and “SHADOW,” showing off a passionate performance and excellent stage manners, receiving high praise from the audience.
The group also prepared mini-games that a number of fans drawn out from a lottery participated in. Each of the lucky fans paired up with a BEAST member and as couples, they engaged in a variety of games, such as Thai culture-themed quizzes and achieving a certain number on the pedometer. There were lots of laughs throughout the meeting, displaying the strong bond and affection between the idol group and fans.
In return, Thai fans also expressed their love for BEAST by making and screening their own BEAST video. All the fans at the venue also held up a placard saying “We will not go anywhere. That is a promise.”
BEAST shares a heartfelt message Thai fans, “Although it has been four years since we last visited, we are so thankful to receive so much support and welcome. We will soon return to Thailand, so please wait for us. That is a promise.”
The fans cheered with excitement as the fan meeting came to an end.
On March 8th, BEAST returned to South Korea. Member Yoon Doojoon will start filming in cable channel tvN‘s new Tuesday drama, Let’s Eat 2, while the rest of the members are also following their individual activities, such as member Yang Yoseob collaborating with solo artist JOO.
