F.T. Island again demonstrates their consistently strong popularity in Japan as their concerts in both Osaka and Hokkaido are reported to be sold out!
On October 15th, F.T. Island released their newest Japanese single, “To the Light”, which swept the charts almost immediately after release. “To the Light” is their 14th Japanese single released and was packaged with tracks “FISH” and “Tornado” and their respective instrumentals.
F.T. Island previously announced that they would be embarking on F.T. Island Autumn Tour – To the Light prior to the release of their new single. This is their second tour in Japan this year as they had just completed PASSION earlier this year!
Their performance in Hokkaido on October 24th and in Osaka on November 1st were completely sold out demonstrating their healthy fan base in Japan. It was reported that the venue was “so populated by enthusiastic fans that the band cannot not differentiate them from the stage.”
After performing in Tokyo, Hokkaido, and Osaka, F.T. Island will be wrapping up their tour at Century Hall in Nagoya on November 14th and 15th and November 24th in Yokohama.
Recently, F.T. Island announced that they will be embarking on a Latin America and Europe tour in 2015 and have released dates and locations, however, ticket information has not yet been confirmed. Meanwhile, F.T. Island’s Lee Honggi has been starring in the latest drama Modern Farmer as rocker Lee Min Ki alongside Park Min Woo from Roommate.
