Although Suzy was reported to have been optimistically considering a new role for the upcoming drama Girl Who Sees Smells alongside JYJ‘s Yoochun, she has ultimately given up the offer to focus on miss A‘s comeback in March!
On January 28th, a representative of Suzy reported to Newsen that the miss A member will not be taking part in the new drama mentioned above. The representative stated, “We have decided that Suzy will not be starring in the upcoming SBS drama ‘The Girl Who Sees Smells‘. Because miss A’s comeback is scheduled for the first half of the new year, a conflict in scheduling has made it impossible to star in a drama. Thus, we have carefully decided not to take the offer.”
Another media official from the broadcasting department also told Ilgan Sports that, “It is unfortunate that we will not be able to work with Suzy due to comeback preparations for miss A, however we are still carrying out our focus on casting a new female lead.”
Meanwhile, JYP Entertainment has confirmed that miss A’s comeback can be well expected to be released sometime between the months of March and April of this year.
Although many fans and netizens were disappointed by the news of Suzy’s unavailability for the new drama, they have been leaving comments of excitement, love, and support for all of the miss A members as well as comments of encouragement for the new album that is soon to be released.
