With so many artists being accused of abusing the controversial “Lolita” concept lately, netizens took it upon themselves to discuss its prevalence in the music industry.
After solo singer IU and former f(x) member Sulli came under fire for allegedly using “Lolita” concepts in their recent projects, girl group Stellar fueled the fire by releasing a slew of photo teasers for their comeback using a similar theme. And with the use of similar themes in the face of strong opposition, the Korean media addressed netizens on their opinions regarding the issue. Rather than changing their opinion on what should be regarded as “Lolita” after Stellar decided to use a similar theme, however, netizens continued to express their disapproval for concepts of the style, condemning any artist or fan that supports its use.

[+ 140, – 26] To people who are shielding this why don’t you go shield Go Young Wook. What’s the difference between him and this guy. Go Young Wook acted on his urges so got punished and this guy is showing his impulses claiming it’s art.
