Students of Sewol ferry tragedy given special college admission screening

The Sewol ferry tragedy was one of the saddest moments in recent memory in Korea, but many are claiming that students from the school are now using the tragedy for their own benefit. 

College admission is extremely important everywhere in the world, and in Korea it’s even more so. So when reports that students at Danwon High School were accepted into Yonsei University and Korea University on special screening rather than their grades and testing scores, students from other schools were incredibly vocal about the special treatment that the students were getting.
