5 K-Pop Idols Who Unfortunately Dealt With Hackers This Year

Some of them gave firm messages to their hackers.

K-Pop idols have to deal with a lot of unfortunate things in their careers, and one of these things is hackers. Throughout the years, many idols have dealt with hackers and decided to speak up against them. Here are 5 K-Pop idols who dealt with hackers this year.

1. Gongchan (B1A4)

Earlier this year, Gongchan’s Instagram account got hacked, and the hacker decided to terrorize his account in several ways. The hacker first deleted all of Gongchan’s photos and replaced them with photos of an unidentified man.

The hacker then proceeded to shut down Gongchan’s account.

After Gongchan found out about this, he posted on his Twitter account, apologizing to his fans.

My Daum account and my Instagram account has been hacked. We’re working hard to track them down. You must’ve been really startled in the middle of the night. I apologize.

— Gongchan

Thankfully, Gongchan was able to get his account back.

2. Youngjae (GOT7)

Youngjae has had to deal with sasaeng fans for years, and in 2020, he had to deal with a potential hacker. Youngjae decided to give a firm message to this potential hacker, saying that if this were to happen again, then he would take action.

I think someone hacked my account. It’s not me if something strange gets posted or something gets liked. If this happens one more time, I will find you. I saw where you tried to log in to my account.

— Youngjae

3. Gain (Brown Eyed Girls)

In March of 2020, Gain revealed that she had been the victim of hacking for several months. She uploaded a few posts on her Instagram account, addressing the situation.

They’ve been hacking my account since January. They’ve been stalking my account all this time..

#Creepy #IfYouHackMeAgainImGoingToChangeItAgain #AreWeLovestagraming hahah

— Gain

4. Yuri (Girls’ Generation)

Yuri ran into an upsetting situation earlier this year when she logged into her Instagram account and founds posts on her feed from accounts that she never followed. The hacker seemed to have been a fan of SEVENTEEN, as the feed post was a photo of SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi. Yuri decided to give a firm message to the hacker and asked them to leave her alone.

Who did this? Why is something that I never heard of before coming up on my feed? Why is my account following it!??? Please! Stop! Stop hacking my account

— Yuri

Not only that, but Yuri also claimed that what the hacker was doing was burglary.

Who is doing this __ __ I’ve left this alone too far.. Why are you doing this? Hacking disgusts me. Sneaking in and following someone I don’t even know. You know this is burglary, right?

— Yuri

5. IU

In February of 2020, IU revealed on her SNS that she was following an unknown Instagram account. Not only that, but she also revealed that she received many messages about people attempting to hack into her Instagram account. IU then gave a simple message to these people trying to hack her account.

Do not hack it. This is mine. ‘BBIBBI’ has the lyrics, ‘if you cross this line, it’s a violation, beep’.

— IU

Bonus: Jennie (BLACKPINK)

Jennie recently revealed that her second Instagram account, lesyeuxdenini, was hacked and that it took her several months to get it back. Jennie also pleaded for people to respect her personal space.

Took almost two months to get this [account] back. Please leave my personal space alone.
