BTS’s Handwritten Tracklist: Who Wrote Which Song Titles For “BE”?

Fans analyze BTS’s handwriting for “BE”.

Today, Big Hit Entertainment revealed the tracklist for BTS‘s album BE, which will drop later this month. Each song’s name is handwritten in pencil by a BTS member. After cross-referencing various samples of BTS’s writing, fans might have figured out who is behind each title.

1. “Life Goes On”

Although BTS hasn’t confirmed ARMY’s guesses, many fans believe that “Life Goes On” was written by RM.

The curves of the letters, pencil pressure, and the dot on the “i” are all very similar to RM’s handwriting seen in this letter to a fan.

…or Jungkook. The shape and weight of the letters for “Fly To My Room” are similar to both members’ handwriting, but Jimin’s writing is more rigid while Jungkook’s bounces across the lines of this postcard.

3. “Blue & Grey”

“Blue & Grey” is one of the most talked about song titles on BE. Some fans say the handwriting looks like Suga‘s…

V also has an unreleased song that features the lyrics “blue and grey”: “Every time I cry, every time I smile, can you look at me ’cause I’m blue and grey?”

4. “Skit”

There are eight tracks and seven members. That means one member might have written more than one song title or multiple members wrote a song title together.

Who wrote “Skit”? Fans have yet to agree on the answer, but Jimin, J-HopeJin, and RM have all been suggested.

There are some similarities between “Skit” and J-Hope’s “Dear ARMY” letter.

5. “잠시” (“Telepathy”)

After comparing the members’ handwriting, some fans believe Jin wrote the title for Track 5.

The shape of the “ㅁ” in “잠시”, the words’ slant to the right, and the slight rise to the right are all very similar to Jin’s writing for this postcard.

Then again, nothing is set in stone. Fans have also compared the song title to Jungkook’s writing.

6. “병” (“Dis-ease”)

Who wrote “Dis-ease”? Both the wordplay and the writing style have led fans to guess Jin for this song too.

7. “Stay”

One of the interesting (and confusing) things about this tracklist is how different a person’s handwriting can look in different languages. After comparing multiple writing samples, some fans say that RM wrote “Stay”.

He is one of the only (if not the only) member who switches between writing his “a” with a curl on top and none at all.

8. “Dynamite”

Did Jungkook write the title for “Stay”? These straight, clearly written letters say, ‘maybe’.
