Here Are SEVENTEEN’s Ideal Dating Types, Based On Their MBTI Profiles

Are you your bias’ ideal type?

It’s debatable how much an MBTI personality test can actually tell you about yourself or other people, but at the very least, they’re fun to figure out and label yourself with! SEVENTEEN‘s members have taken the MBTI test and made public which types each of the members are, which can possibly give us a little insight into their true personalities. These are the dating types of all of the members of SEVENTEEN, based on their MBTI type stereotypes!

1. S.Coups, Jun, Hoshi, & DK: INFP (The Idealists)

S.Coups, Jun, Hoshi, and DK are all the Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Perceiving personality type. This personality type craves to make the world a better place for everyone, and they think deeply about the what the true meaning of life really is. They’re perfectionists and idealists at heart, and are very loyal to the people and things they care about.

With dating, INFP types need emotional honesty in a relationship that allows each person to open up to each other on a deep level with a lot of trust. The ideal date would be something that allows the other person to talk about something they really enjoy and care about, such as discussing books at a book store or art at a museum. Dates that have personal meaning, such as volunteering for an organization they care about, are also high on the list.

2. Jeonghan: ISFJ (The Nurturer)

Jeonghan is the only member of SEVENTEEN that is the Introverted, Sensing, Feeling, and Judging type! This personality type, though typically somewhat quiet, is kind and warm-hearted, and generally sees the best in other people. They are incredibly loyal, and make an effort to remember specific details about others that are important to them. ISFJs crave cooperation and harmony, and they are very intuitive to the emotions of others.

As for dating, these types enjoy old-fashioned romance and courtesy in their courtship. They tend to be hyper-focused on how their date treats other people, as well as how engaged they are in the date itself. ISFJs are sensitive to lack of honesty and interest, and have to really trust their partner in order to enjoy themselves. A quiet, intimate date such as spending time making dinner at home would be preffered for this type.

3. Joshua, Mingyu, & Dino: ENFJ (The Givers)

Joshua, Mingyu, and Dino are all Extroverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Judging types.  This personality type deeply desires to take care of others, and they also tend to have great social skills. They will always support and encourage the people that they care about, and really enjoy seeing others succeed because of their encouragement.

ISFJs prefer dates that allow a rich and authentic experience with their partner. They really want to get to know the other person on a deep level, to get a deep look into their partner’s mind and know what makes them tick. They also crave some adventure, though, so a sudden impromptu night out on the town or anything that will get their blood pumping would be ideal!

4. Wonwoo, Woozi, & The8: INFJ (The Protectors)

Wonwoo, Woozi, and The8 are all Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Judging types. These types seek connections between people, relationships, and material possessions, and also desire to know what motivates others. The tend to develop a clear vision of what they want in life, and are decisive and organized in achieving that goal.

When it comes to dating, they search for three things above all else: Imagination, kindness, and authenticity. They would prefer to have a date somewhere quiet and tranquil, such as a calming garden or at a quiet café. Once these types feel comfortable enough to open up, they could talk to you for hours without feeling like any time has passed.

5. Seungkwan & Vernon: ENFP (The Inspirers)

Seungkwan and Vernon are both Extroverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Perceiving types. These types of people love surprises and excitement, and are very enthusiastic, energetic, and imaginative. They see all kinds of possibilities in the world around them, and are highly spontaneous and flexible in their actions.

For these types, an ideal dating experience would involve surprises and spontaneity, something that they wouldn’t expect or that would be spur of the moment. Something such as an impromptu road trip to somewhere new or exploring new and unique parts of the city would be a great plan, especially if it included deep philosophical conversations or talking about the future.
