ATEEZ Fans Come Together To Boycott Eltee Skhillz, Who Allegedly Plagiarized “The Real” MV

They’re asking people to email KQ Entertainment rather than give the MV more views.

Recently, the Nigerian singer Eltee Skhillz has come under fire by ATINYs for the similarities between one of his music videos and ATEEZ‘s “The Real”.

Some of the scenes and themes from the musician’s “Odg” music video, which was just released a couple of days ago, are being compared to the ATEEZ music video, which came out in December last year. And it’s clear to see why.

While claims of plagiarism are somewhat common in the K-Pop industry, it’s rarer to see such a blatant copy of a music video.

Other fans are bringing up the subject of cultural appropriation, namely in regards to Skhillz wearing a hanbok in the music video, as well as switching out Korean calligraphy with random shapes.

Rather than giving the music video more views, even to dislike it, ATINYs are encouraging people to email KQ Entertainment to make them aware of the situation so they can take action if they deem it necessary.

In the meantime, if you want to show your support for ATEEZ, go watch the music video for “The Real”!
