BTS’s “Dynamite” Becomes The Fastest Korean Group Music Video To Reach 900 Million Views

Congratulations!

BTS’s “Dynamite” continues breaking records!

On March 10 at about 10 a.m. KST, the music video for “Dynamite” reached 900 million views on YouTube! It took about 6 months, 16 days, and 21 hours to reach this goal since the video was uploaded around 1 p.m. KST on August 21, 2020.

This now sets a new record as the fastest K-Pop group’s music video to hit 900 million views! The previous record was held by BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU” at one year, one month, and 15 days. This is BTS’s third music video to hit 900 million along with “Boy With Luv” and “DNA.”

This song has already gotten them many achievements such as the 10th Biggest Single in the World, Most Korean Music Show Wins, Longest-charting Song On the Canadian Hot 100, and more. The outfits from the music video were also sold for $162,500 which was donated to charity.

Meanwhile, BTS will be performing at the 2021 Grammy Awards, where “Dynamite” is nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
