1. RM

RM revealed that he began focusing on a daily routine and doing what makes him feel good.

I used to chase after ideals, but now I focus on more realistic things. I picked up on reading again, which I’ve been putting off for the past 3 years (food for the mind). And in July 2020, I came up with a regular workout routine (food for the body).

I started understanding and expanding certain sides of myself that I never thought to seek before (and this has impacted my music/work too). I’m not sure how these past two years will play into my future. But regardless, I read, exercise, and spend time in the studio again. I live on. C’est la vie.

2. Jin

Jin shared how the new situation impacted his mindset and gave him a chance to slow down, reorganize his thoughts, and remain positive.

The most positive change that I’ve seen in my life through the past two years of the pandemic is that I learned to be relaxed. Before the pandemic, I was extremely busy and I would get easily frustrated over my packed schedule. I saw it as having too much to do in too short of a time. That hasn’t changed — I’m still busy and I still have a lot to do. But while struggling through the pandemic, I got to organize my thoughts a bit.

— Jin

Now it feels like I don’t have that weight on my shoulders anymore. I have a different mindset going in to do the same things. And that helps me tackle things with a smile on my face. I look forward to keeping this optimistic outlook on life. “Carry on!”

7. Jungkook

Jungkook picked up some new hobbies throughout the pandemic.

I think I’ve grown used to the word “contactless” since the pandemic. It has been hard to see not only friends but also family. T-T But these days, I use a communication program that lets me connect. Through that program, I get to chat it up with people, listen to music, play games, and watch movies too. It has actually been more entertaining than I had expected.

— Jungkook

During this time, when everything is contactless, I hope everyone can, too, find joy and happiness in creating safe new hobbies that aren’t exposing them to risks.
