“Radio Star” Announces Cha Tae Hyun’s Departure From Program In Relation To Gambling Scandal

He will no longer be an MC.

On March 20, MBC‘s Radio Star has announced that Cha Tae Hyun will be stepping down from the MC (host) position of the program.

They revealed there is one episode that includes Cha Tae Hyun remaining and that the filming which took place on the day did not include MC Cha Tae Hyun.

There is one episode left and today’s filming was led by the tree MCs Kim Gook Jin, Yoon Jong Shin and Gim Gu Ra. We will broadcast after careful consideration.

Cha Tae Hyun was one of the people implicated by the leaked messages from Jung Joon Young’s phone, which suggested that he gambled and earned money from the practice.

As a result, he issued a formal letter of apology and subsequently stepped down from the cast of 2 Days & 1 Night, also stating his intentions to step down from all of his programs.
