With each episode, we watch as Young Woo assists in solving legal cases. Yet, we also look forward to the slow burn between her and coworker Jun Ho.

While we are getting closer and closer in each episode to the two finally confirming their relationship, viewers are now noticing a cute detail in one of their first romantic moments.

As you likely already know, Woo Young Woo loves aquatic mammals, specifically whales, and dolphins, which are technically just a smaller type of whales. Her entire bedroom is decorated with whales, and she frequently finds connections to whales in everyday conversations, spouting facts, especially to Lee Jun Ho.

In the drama, whales occasionally appear via her imagination to bring her comfort or when she has a “Eureka!” moment rather than a lightbulb.

If you look back on Episode 4, there is a very sweet detail you might have missed.

During the episode, Woo Young Woo’s best friend Dong Geu Ra Mi (Joo Hyun Young) realizes that Lee Jun Ho and Young Woo might be developing feelings for each other. So, she encourages him to take Young Woo to watch the sunset by the water before going home.

Sure enough, he did exactly that, proving his feelings to viewers. So, she talks to him about whales and how she hopes to one day see them in person, not in an aquarium.

You may notice that the water in the background looks a bit unusual during this scene. The waves have an odd shape about them.

That’s because the bokeh, “the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light,” is shaped like tiny dolphins!

Sometimes, it appears more circular, which is likely intentional too.

Nevertheless, the dolphins appear at the exact moment that Lee Jun Ho tells Woo Young Woo that he wants “to be on the same side” as her. While framed to sound related to work, it was practically a love confession!

Bokeh has become an icon characteristic in K-Drama cinematography. It’s common to create heart shapes with it, perfect for romantic moments.

So, the dolphin shapes are clearly the equivalent of our “Whale Couple!” And if you consider that whales appear in her important moments, it could foreshadow that they are endgame.

If that was not enough, in Episode 7, Young Woo confessed to her best friend that this moment had made her heart beat!
