Season two of the bilingual Korean American drama series Dramaworld has recently premiered in Asia. It focuses on an American fangirl who finds herself transported into the world of K-Dramas, where she finds out that her actions can determine the storylines within the dramas.
Santa Clarita Diet‘s Liv Hewson returns as the lead, along with Justin Chon (The Twilight Saga, Seoul Searching). The first season, which is available to watch on Rakuten‘s Viki, featured a few cameos, including Super Junior‘s Siwon and actress Han Ji Min. The second season includes even more cameos from both Korean and American celebrities, such as Daniel Dae Kim (The Good Doctor, Lost), Kevin Woo, and On My Block‘s Brett Gray.
Solo artist and actor Henry, also known as Henry Lau, has a role too. He portrays Woo Sung, the male lead in a K-Drama that is about a love story between a vampire and a tiger. Additionally, he recently released an OST “Too Good to Be True” for the drama.
Season two of Dramaworld is a co-production between South Korean production company Raemongraein (RMRI) and US-based Third Culture Content. Previously, Endeavor Content represented the show, but A+E Networks International currently holds the distribution rights in Asia. Dramaworld 2 started airing on April 2, 2021 and will continue to air throughout the month of June with a total of ten episodes.
