JOO continues as a free agent after contract with JYP Entertainment expired

Singer JOO became a free agent after her seven year contract with JYP Entertainment expired. 

Revealing to Star News on January 20th, a number of entertainment media personnels revealed that, “As of last week, JOO’s seven year contract with JYP Entertainment was ended.”

She is described to have become a free agent as of last week and is to start looking for new agencies in the near future.

JOO debuted in 2006 through SBS Superstar Survival and released her first single “Young Girl” under JYP Entertainment in 2008. Since then, she was active in musicals and dramas. Meanwhile, JOO is also know as the older sister of Jung Ilhoon, a member of BTOB.
