HYBE is kicking off the new year in a big way!
Weverse announced the end-of-year event, revealing the line-up for 2022 Weverse Con [New Era], a concert event featuring artists from HYBE’s various music labels. And, it truly showcases the range of the company!
On December 7, Weverse shared that the event will include performances by TOMORROW X TOGETHER (also known as TXT), SEVENTEEN, BUMZU, Dvwn, ENHYPEN, fromis_9, and Lee Hyun.
While these are all some of our favorite K-Pop artists, what’s really gotten our attention is that Canadian music artist Justin Bieber is also headlining. He is under the media company Ithaca Holdings, which was purchased by HYBE this year.
We’re not the only ones shook by Bieber’s inclusion either. Shortly after the announcement, “bieber hyung” began trending on Twitter.
Gonna bring this back because we got justing bieber hyung on NYEL 🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼

As for BTS, they are not expected to attend as BIGHIT MUSIC recently shared that BTS will be taking their second official vacation. They will be spending the holidays with their families.
2022 Weverse Con will be held in person. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 restrictions, only Korean nationals and foreign nationals residing in Korea can buy tickets for this in-person event. For those unable to attend, it will also be simultaneously broadcasted online. Even Justin Bieber will be participating in the event virtually.
All tickets will be available for purchase through Weverse Shop, starting December 9 at 4 PM KST. 2022 Weverse Con will be held at Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX) on December 31 at 9 PM KST.
