Korean Celebrities’ Favorite Japan Tourist Spots To Close Following Concerns About The Coronavirus (COVID-19)

TWICE was just there earlier this month.

Sora News 24 reports that Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea began requesting that potential guests suffering from cold-like symptoms refrain from visiting the park on February 21, however, since their initial plea to the public, they have decided to shut down entirely for a two-week period starting from February 29.

It is believed the parks will reopen around March 16.  The Japanese government has stated that the following two weeks will be a critical time to contain the virus and have also asked entertainers to suspend activities until late March.

The dramatic decision to close the parks was made due to concerns about the current coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Many Korean celebrities, such as Taeyeon and IZ*ONE, are known to frequent the Tokyo Disney parks, with TWICE visiting as recently as the beginning of this month.
