Produce 101’s Yoo Seonho Takes On Challenging Role As A Child With Mental Disability In New Drama “Undercover”

Who’s ready to see him back on the silver screen?

While Yoo Seonho, of Produce 101 fame, already has a healthy acting resume stacked up, including three mini webseries and 3 minor feature roles in various dramas, Undercover marks his first major role.

The drama is set to air in 2021 on JTBC, a remake of a BBC drama of the same name. The drama stars Ji Jin Hee and Kim Hyun Joo, and is about an NIS agent that falls in love and marries a civil-rights lawyer under his alias. His identity is set to be unravelled as his wife becomes nominated for the Civil Servants Corruption Investigation Unit. Yoo Seonho will play their son, who gets trapped between the couple.

The role will be a particularly challenging one for the teen as he will play a student that has a mental disability. Due to this, he is especially attached to his father, despite not knowing about his father’s true identity.

Yoo Seonho has previously acted in Mischievous Detectives and Boksoo’s Back, showing fine acting skills. He has also released a single, “Maybe spring” previously. Check out an acting clip of his below.
