Announcing through the official website on August 20, the organizers of the festival stated, “SEVENTEEN has confirmed their participation in the 2020 FNS Music Festival — Summer.

This will be SEVENTEEN’s first time participating in the festival and the group will be recording their performances in advance in Korea due to COVID-19.

To celebrate participating for the first time, however, SEVENTEEN is marking the occasion with an extra special gift for fans. The group will be unveiling their brand new song “24H”, the title song for their upcoming Japanese mini-album of the same name, for the very first time! This new song conveys the message “SEVENTEEN is always by Carats side.”

SEVENTEEN has already proved their huge popularity in Japan on numerous occasions. Their 2nd Japanese single Fallin’ Flower alone achieved Double Platinum certification with cumulative album sales of more than 500,000 copies having been released earlier this year in April. They also became the only Korean artists to make it to the top 10 of Oricon‘s singles chart in the first half of the year!

24H, meanwhile, has been attracting attention worldwide and many fans are excited to hear the title track and see their performance at the 2020 FNS Music Festival — Summer.

The 2020 FNS Music Festival — Summer will begin airing at 6:30 PM KST on August 26 on Fuji TV channel. SEVENTEEN will also be meeting global fans on August 30 through their live online meeting SEVENTEEN in CARAT LAND.
