Netizens couldn’t believe their luck when it was announced that actors Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin announced that they were going to get married! From the minute that they acted together in the mega-hit K-Drama, Crash Landing On You…
…until Dispatch revealed they were dating in 2021, the duo had been #goals for years! Now, netizens were even happier when their marriage statement was released.
Even though it was only announced at the start of 2021, and the duo had been reported to only have dated eight months before, netizens had one thing in mind. They wanted to know all about whether a wedding was going to happen.
Luckily, fans didn’t have to wait too long as it was announced on Instagram with some beautiful pictures of the duo…
There was also the cutest message in the world from Hyun Bin.
Hello. This is Hyun Bin. Is everyone doing well? I’ve come to write this post as I wanted to let the fans that care for me and have given me vast attention and love, even though I’m lacking in a variety of ways, know about the most important decision in my life first.
There’s probably people that have already been expecting this. Yes. I’ve made the important decision of marriage and I’m cautiously taking a step into the second chapter of my life.
I’ve made a promise with the girl that has always made me smile, to walk together in the future.
Jeong Hyeok and Se Ri, who were together in the drama, will be taking that first step together.
I think that you guys will be happily cheering our first steps on, as you always have up to now, with warm and loving gazes.
Then, everyone, please stay healthy and happy until the day we meet and greet each other.
— Hyun Bin
Well, it seems as if Instagram might have been the key to earlier clues that only a few netizens seemed to have noticed. At the start of February, keen followers of Son Ye Jin noticed that the actress started following someone new on Instagram.
Although it isn’t odd for people to do, the person that she followed was what gained attention. It was someone who went by the username, @youngsnap_official.
Again, it was nothing out of the ordinary until fans realized that the user was actually a certified wedding photographer and his page was full of beautiful images of people’s weddings.
Yet, very soon after, it seemed as if Son Ye Jin unfollowed the user. Although many netizens didn’t notice it, those who saw everything that happened joked that the actress must’ve been looking through his page for inspiration and accidentally followed him.
What was even funnier is that after it happened, the photographer followed her back just before he realized she had unfollowed him.
Y’all the wedding photographer followed her back ITS GOING DOWN IN THE DMS 😭 pic.twitter.com/u5hquDD5GU

It isn’t the first time netizens have noticed rumors or hints that made them believe that the couple was going to get married, or in some cases, that they’d already gotten married.
In June, fans of the pair saw photos of a coffee shop in Changwon displaying flowers all over the place with the Crash Landing On You stars’ names printed on them. Since this is among the most common acts of married couples, some started to think that the K-drama stars have already put rings on their fingers.
Whether the signs were right or just an accident, it can’t just be pure coincidence that this all happened days before the official announcement about their wedding. One thing that netizens are on the same page about is how excited they are for the big day.
