Super Junior Fans To Boycott Group Promotions Until Kangin And Sungmin Are Kicked Out Of The Group

They plan to boycott the group’s upcoming group comeback.

Super Junior announced that they will be making a full group comeback for the first time since all of the members have finished their military duties. Their 9th full album is set to release sometime near the end of this month, but only 9 members will be participating.

Everyone except Kangin and Sungmin will be taking part in the highly anticipated album.

Hello, this is Label SJ.

We would like to make an announcement regarding Super Junior’s full group promotions that’s scheduled for the later half of this year.

After discussing with the members, we decided that Super Junior’s 9th full-album will include the 9 members Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Siwon, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun.

Kangin and Sungmin, who will not be participating, will greet their fans through different individual activities.

We are currently planning the specific date for Super Junior’s comeback. As this is the first album since all of the members have been discharged from the military, we ask for everyone’s interest and support.

Thank you.

As the majority of the E.L.Fs are celebrating the comeback announcement, a group of fans has announced that they will boycott everything related to Super Junior until Kangin and Sungmin are officially removed from the group.

We petition for Kangin and Sungmin to be kicked out of Super Junior. Please note that all of the fans who participated in the entirety of this statement gathered solely for the purpose of removing the two members.

— Super Junior Fans

The fans asked others to boycott everything related to Super Junior, including watching and sharing anything on social media, listening to the songs, purchasing their goods, watching shows with the members on it, and more.

The fans began circulating the hashtag, “#Criminal_Kangin_FanDeceiving_Sungmin_PermanentRemoval”, demanding that their label officially remove them instead of putting them on hiatus from group promotions.

The fans are protesting Kangin and Sungmin for their previous controversies. Kangin was found guilty of multiple hit and runs under the influence of alcohol, as well as getting arrested for physical assaulting his girlfriend. Sungmin was criticized for mishandling the announcement and process of his marriage.

While the remaining 9 members will be returning with their 9th full album, Kangin is set to return to screen through a web drama. Sungmin remains quiet without any official promotional activities so far.
