TVXQ’s Yunho Releases Personal Apology Following Police Investigation For Violating Social Distancing Rules

Yunho acknowledged his mistake.

TVXQ‘s Yunho recently underwent a police investigation for violating social distancing rules after it was revealed that Yunho violated the public establishments’ curfew of 10 PM by staying at a restaurant until around midnight.

And shortly following SM Entertainment‘s apology, Yunho posted a personal apology on his Instagram account.

Yunho started off by apologizing to all those he might’ve hurt through his behavior.

Hello, this is Jung Yunho. I’m very sorry. I ended up causing disappointment to all those who trusted me and cheered me on. I’m also very sorry to the medical professionals who’ve been working hard during the COVID-19 pandemic, and all of you, who are overcoming tiring days.

Not only did Yunho acknowledge his mistake, but he also expressed his great disappointment in himself.

I’m embarrassed that I met up with my friend and ended up chatting past the curfew, so I’m angry at myself, and I can imagine how angry and hurt you must be as well.

He concluded his apology with a promise to take the social distancing rules more seriously so that something like this never happens again.

I’m regretful and sorry that I didn’t pay better attention, which ultimately led me to make this mistake. I will reflect upon my actions of violating social distancing rules, and I promise to become a Jung Yunho who abides by the social distancing rules, and thinks and behaves in a more thorough manner. I’m very sorry.
