TWICE and CNBLUE are the first artists announced for KCON New York

KCON will be returning to New York in 2017 for the third straight year and they’ve begun teasing fans with an exciting taste of their lineup.

KCON New York will take place on June 23 and June 24 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. It has been announced that the first 2 groups attending will be TWICE and CNBLUE. Both TWICE and CNBLUE are no strangers to attending to KCON as TWICE attended KCON LA 2016 and CNBLUE attended KCON LA 2014.

K-Pop fans on the east coast will be delighted to have the opportunity to see two of their favorite groups visit their side of the United States. Last year’s concert featured BTS, Mamamoo, and SEVENTEEN, and the convention presented 50 different panels, featuring 70 special guests.

KCON is the largest K-Pop Festival in the world and has branched off since its inception to include several cities throughout the world. KCON was created by Koreaboo’s founders in 2012 after approaching CJ E&M and Mnet with the idea to create a festival and convention for international K-Pop fans. It has now expanded to cities such as Newark, USA; Chiba, Japan; Abu Dhabi, UAE; Mexico City, Mexico; and Paris, France and sees 100,000+ attendees yearly.

The convention gives fans the chance to see multiple K-Pop groups and indulge in Korean culture and is a must attend for all K-Pop fans.
