The song is from the perspective of a boy who is deemed a loser by others, but still hopes to fall in love with someone, and ultimately, the two characters run away together, Soobin revealed how the dollar sign is meant to address how young people eventually face the real world.

As the song is about a boy who hopes to escape reality with his lover, he eventually realizes that money is crucial for his escape.
