These Two Contestants Of “Sing Again” Made Viewers’ Jaws Drop With An Unimaginable Age Gap

“Neither of them look their own age.”

On a recent episode of JTBC‘s Sing Again, contestants paired up to perform, but the truth about one pair’s age gap made both the viewers and judges drop their jaws in shock.

Following their spectacular performance, Lee Seung Gi asked the pair if they ran into any difficulties while working together.

And they caught everyone off guard by mentioning their generational difference.

I didn’t know this at first, but there’s a large age gap between us. I was worried about a generational gap.

— Contestant 63

As it turned out, Contestant 63 was born in 2000, making him 20 years old, while Contestant 30 was born in 1989, making him 31 years old.

And their gap was apparent when it was revealed that Contestant 63 learned how to play guitar through YouTube while Contestant 30 learned through books as YouTube was not a thing at the time.

And both the judges and viewers were shocked because many assumed they were the same age based on their outer appearance.

  • “Huh? I thought they were the same age!”
  • “Neither of them look their own age.”
  • “I’m sorry, I thought it was the other way around.”
  • “I thought Contestant 63 was the younger one.”
