Congrats to BTS!

In light of BTS’s comeback with “Dynamite,” fans got to work making USA comeback goals including entering the Apple Music Top 50 and hitting 100M views on YouTube.

While they hit all their other goals, they were a little late in reaching the 100M views on YouTube goal…or so they thought! Previously, Twitter and media were announcing that the music video hit 98,291,053 views in 24 hours and that they surpassed 100M in 24 hours and 27 minutes.

But recently, fans found that YouTube had confirmed that they had indeed hit 100M views within the first 24 hours. According to a YouTube spokesperson who talked with Forbes, “We can confirm that BTS’s ‘Dynamite’ Official MV set a new all-time 24h record, surpassing 100M views with 101.1M views in the first 24 hours.”

They also revealed that “Dynamite” set a new record for the biggest music video Premiere. “BTS’s ‘Dynamite’ Official MV set a new all-time record for the biggest music video premiere with over 3M peak concurrent [views].”
