Being a K-Pop trainee isn’t easy, and BTS‘s J-Hope recently spoke about how difficult his trainee days were.
In a recent episode of tvN‘s You Quiz On The Block, J-Hope honestly shared that there were many times during his trainee days where he wanted to quit.
There were lots of things J-Hope was unable to do because he was a trainee, such as playing games and being with his family.
J-Hope endured all of this since he was passionate about becoming a singer.
However, there was one time when J-Hope left the group when he was a trainee. This was an emotional moment, and Jungkook cried when J-Hope said he was leaving. Thankfully, J-Hope changed his mind since he trusted the members.
J-Hope also shared that getting asked when he was debuting was the toughest question since even he didn’t know.
J-Hope then spoke about how much his mother helped him during his trainee days. Every time J-Hope visited his parents, his mother would be supportive of him and helped push him forward.
Thanks to his mother, J-Hope was able to continue pursuing his dreams.
My mom believed in me and helped me, ‘I will make it happen.’ My mom’s happiness is my happiness. My mom’s smile is my smile.
