Suga Confesses His Ideal Type Isn’t Limited To A Girl

He talked about LGBT issues and revealed his ideal type isn’t necessarily a girl.

South Korea is a modern country with ever changing trends but on some issues it tends towards conservatism. One such issue that is slow to change is LGBT rights.

Many other Asian nations are also slow to warm to the subject. Only Taiwan and some areas of Tokyo have given the green light to same-sex marriages.

However, some K-celebrities are known to openly support LGBT rights. In a recent interview with Billboard, BTS’s Suga openly stated that, “There is nothing wrong. Everyone is equal.”

And this isn’t the first time that Suga has been so open with his thoughts on the topic. In an interview with Japanese magazine Oricon Style back in 2014, Suga answered a question about what he first notices when he looks at girls.

“I focus on personality and atmosphere. I don’t have an ideal type and it’s not limited to a girl.”

And some fans believe part of his rap in Cypher pt. 3 point to his acceptance of same-sex relationships.

But Suga isn’t the only K-celeb that is open with their support. Among those who are very supportive are 2NE1’s CL, Super Junior’s Heechul, Infinite’s Hoya, 2AM’s Jo Kwon, f(x)’s Amber, BoA, and JYJ’s Jaejoong (just to name a few).
